Administrative department

 

The UB administrative service is responsible for:

1. Ensure the monitoring of human resources administrative files and their careers;

2. Lead and coordinate all the activities of the Service;

3. Design and apply a personnel management policy;

4. Ensure the monitoring of the preparation of notes of engagement, advancement in grade, reintegration, secondment, layoff, retirement or sanction of personnel,

5. Ensure follow-up of the recommendations of hierarchical authorities in matters of human resources management;

6. Propose decisions and legal and administrative acts with a view to updating the personnel files of the University of Burundi;

7. Prepare information notes and suggestions for administrative measures to be taken for the attention of the hierarchical authority;

8. Design and apply a policy and practice for monitoring the presence, punctuality, services and discipline of service personnel, in particular by means of control mechanisms for counting         attendance, services, entries and exits ;

9. Design, apply and monitor an in-service training and development policy for staff;

10. Ensure monitoring of the production of reports in all activities of the Service;

11. Prepare a monthly report on staff movements;
12. Carry out any other work related to the activities of the Service, at the request of the hierarchical authority
