Nibasumba Anaclet is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Burundi’s Higher Institute of Agricultural Training (ISFA). He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences and Bioengineering, with a specialization in Environmental Sciences. His work focuses on agroecology, horticulture, soil fertility, and the sustainable management of natural resources. He headed the Land Management and Ecology Research Programme at the Burundi Institute of Agricultural Sciences (ISABU) and served as Head of the Department of Agriculture at ISFA. He has extensive experience in the design, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of agricultural and environmental projects. His research focuses particularly on intercropping systems, biofertilizers, biopesticides, and climate change adaptation in agriculture. He collaborates with various national and international institutions in research, training, and agricultural development. He also contributes to student education and supervises master’s and doctoral research. His professional commitment is to promote productive, resilient, and sustainable agriculture based on the responsible use of local resources and agroecological principles.
