Biography

    Egide Manirambona is a PhD holder in Energy studies and he is currently a researcher and lecturer at the University of Burundi, in the Electromechanical Department, Faculty of Engineering Sciences. He is forward-thinking, confident energy specialist with well-honed communication, leadership, management skills and proven ability to build relationships. He is the author and reviewer of many energy and greenhouse emissions related published articles, available online (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8987-4887). He is energy transformation expert trained by Agora energywende & Renewable Academy (RENAC) for Energy Transition - Germany. He is also energy specialist trained by Florence School of Regulation & Enel Foundation – Italy, with particular regard to sustainability, homogeneity and resilience, fuelled by innovation and shared value. In 2024, Egide led USAID-Power Africa funded program “Empower East and Central Africa – EECA” as Energy specialist in Burundi. He is a member of the Research Centre in Infrastructures, Environment and Technology – CRIET, housed in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences (FSI) of the University of Burundi.
