Biography
Professor André NDUWIMANA is a researcher and professor at the faculty of Agronomy and Bio Engineering (FABI) of the university of Burundi, with a long career in education and local governance. Before his doctoral studies, he was a secondar teacher for four years, school director for six years, adviser in Minister's office for three years and executive director of Burundian association of local governments (ABELO now changed in ACOBU). After his doctoral studies and his doctorate in Tropical ecology at the National Muséum of Natural History in Paris (ED227 member of COMUE ' Sorbonne Universities'), he joined the university of Burundi where he contributes to its threefold mission: teaching, research and service to the community.
