Biography

Prof NIZIGIYIMANA Désiré Louis is an associate professor in political Theories and political science working at University of Burundi in the faculty of Law, political science and international reations. He hold a BA Honnors Degree in Philosophy from Arrupe Jesuit University of Harare, Zimbabwe, a master degree by research (Mphil) in Political Philosophy from University of Tilburg in the Netherlands, and PhD degree in Political Theories and Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome, Italie. Prof Désiré Louis has taught many courses in his area experetise at University of Burundi, Saint Augustine Univerity of Tanzania and many other academic institutions. He has occupied many positions of leadership in academia such as chief editor of the Review of humanities and social sciences at Univesity of Burundi and Head of the departement of Political Science and International Relations at the same institutution. Prof Désire Louis Nizigiyimana is actually the Director of programs, capacity building and expertise at the National School of Administration (EN). He also teaches at University of Burundi.
