Biography
Erasme Ngiye is a Doctor in Geography and Planning. He is a teacher-researcher at the University of Burundi From 2018 until 2023, he served as Head of Department of Geography. Since March 2024, he has been Director of CREDSR (Center for Research and Studies on the Development of Societies in Reconstruction) at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences. Within this center, he leads the team: Socio-spatial dynamics, population and development. He is also an associated researcher at the LISST-Dynamiques Rurales Laboratory at the University of Toulouse II - Jean-Jaurès. He is very involved in research analyzing territorial dynamics. In research, he is the author of several articles and chapters of collective works published in internationally indexed journals.
